£1299.00 36V Standard [50+ Miles]
Evolved from the original and very popular Metro, the Metro LS is a low-step folding e-bike. With it's curved and slightly smaller frame, getting on and off the LS is now more convenient and accessible, making it an ideal choice for the smaller rider.
The Metro LS hosts exactly the same features of the Metro and can be folded in exactly the same way too. These features include Shimano Alivio 8 speed gears, Tektro brakes, SKS mudguards (front and back), pannier rack, kickstand and Spanninga lights. The twenty inch wheels come with Kenda Kevlar lined tyres with extra thick inner tubes to minimise punctures.
Powering the cycle is a 250W Bafang motor and Panasonic lithium battery capable of distances in excess of fifty miles (depending on riding environment and levels of pedal assist). The motor resides in the rear hub and is managed by our sophisticated V-Wave drive technology.
V-Wave ensures a smooth and enjoyable riding experience by managing the torque-to-speed ratio. With five different pedal assist levels riders can effortlessly accelerate to the motor's top speed of 15.5mph. The pedal assistance level can be easily set using the intuitive and ergonomically designed LCD computer located on the handle bar.
Essentially, the Metro LS offers a convenient, easy to ride, foldable e-bike. It is one of the smallest and most compact electric bikes available, making it perfect to store in small places, use for commuting or take with you on holiday or a weekend away.
The LS comes with a 2 Year full peace of mind warranty. There is also the option to buy a cover carry-case which keeps the folded cycle neat and tidy when stowed away.

"We had an unusual need. We live in Sydney and wanted to buy an electric bike to use on a holiday in France. It had to fold up to go in a car boot and on a boat we hired, and be easy to get on and off for my wife who has a very sore hip.
From start to finish, Lyle Metcalfe could not have been more helpful and clearly from our research the Volt Metro LS was the best bike on the market for our needs.
Lyle found one for us (they were out of stock because of high demand), shipped it to us in France together with a superb pannier, lock and storage bag. He offered to help us over the phone, but it was very easy to assemble the bike out of the box.
The bike transformed my wife's holiday! She has difficulty walking any distance, and a conventional bike is too painful for her hip. With the Volt bike she could travel long distances effortlessly and the pannier was large enough for all our shopping. She would zoom up long hills and I would arrive later and very puffed on a conventional bike. We have stored the bike in France awaiting our return next year, and I plan to buy one too.
Thanks again to Lyle, and thanks to Volt for such a great bike"
"Bought two Volt Metro bicycles with the larger batteries! A Metro LS for my wife and a Metro for me! If you are looking for a fantastic form of transport then I would recommend the Volt.
I use mine everyday for a 25 mile round trip commute over very hilly terrain. I cannot recommend this bike enough. Fantastic build quality, very quiet motor and great fun to ride!
No longer do hills fill me with dread, can wear work clothes as you no longer sweat your cobbs of cycling! To say I love it is an under statement. Charging process takes about four hours use about a third of the battery on my commute! Bought them from Velo Smith in Plymouth who arranged a test ride! Volt after sales is very good. My wife and I are in our fifties and often go for long rides together.
Get a Volt Ebike hit the trail and never look back, recommended!"
"Bought a Volt Metro LS for a 12 mile-a-day commute. In my forties and 20lbs overweight so hoping this will help. Lyle and his company were fantastic. I emailed them to say I needed Friday or Saturday delivery and they suggested they deliver to a local bike shop and pay them to set it up for me. I live virtually opposite Lockes in Sandwich so this made a huge amount of sense. VERY happy with my bike. Paired with a set of Red & Black "Ortlieb City Rear Roller" panniers it really looks "the business". Pleased to say you still have to put some effort in to maintain a steady 25km/h - but the motor is amazing - really puts a smile on your face - and the ability to cruise on the thumb-throttle whilst you get your breath back is great. Also can admit I enjoyed overtaking some racing bikes on a hybrid as an overweight 40-something perhaps a little too much :-) Great product. Great company. Highly recommended if you can afford it - can't see how you would be disappointed."
