The Infinity II is our latest e-bike to feature the highly sophisticated Shimano STEPS pedal assist system. Very much modelled on the best selling Infinity I, this model features a smaller and lower shaped frame, making it accessible to those who find the Infinity I a bit big.
Other than the frame size and shape, this e-bike comes with virtually the same features as the original. 700c wheels, Kenda puncture resistant tyres and SR Suntour NCX suspension all ensure the smoothest ride possible. The motor is one of the lightest systems available on the market and is powered by a high capacity Sony battery.
The Shimano STEPS system is one of the most advanced and sophisticated in the world. It uses intelligent software technology to maximise the cycle experience for the rider. The 8 speed Alfine DI2 gear system allows you to operate manual or fully automatic electronic gear changes with ease. It even automatically changes down in gear when you stop, ensuring an easy and smooth set off for next time. You can find more information on this technology on our Shimano STEPS page. The Infinity II also features Shimano Alfine hydraulic brakes, which are among the safest and most reliable braking systems available.
Both the Infinity I & II are part of VOLT's premium range and offer an unrivalled cycling experience. It's advanced technological features have caught the attention of the press and media with appearances in magazines like T3, Gizmodo, The Electric Bike Magazine and many more publications.
As with all our electric bikes the Infinity comes with two years peace of mind warranty. Experience the bike for yourself, call 020 7378 4728 today and arrange a test ride. Or visit our UK store locator to find a dealer near you.

"We are absolutely delighted with our new bicycles. They are a pleasure to ride and the seat suspension makes cycling a lot more comfortable. The only problem that we have had is with Infinity II which has an automatic gear change mode. This works fine on level roads or slight inclines but on steep ascents it would seem that the gear change cannot cope and the bike is trying to change gear too often, and into too high a gear for the ascent. This is perhaps something that VOLT™ need to address. My recommendation therefore is to us the manual gear change on hills. We have found VOLT™ and their agent/stockist, The Bike Shed at Hebden Bridge, extremely supportive and easy to contact.
